The feature I am missing the most is

1) Ability to stream and select between :
- multiple language (if media contains more than one track)
- multiple external subtitle (according to specific pattern : {media}.en.srt, {media}.fr.srt, etc)

Here come a few bonus request features :

2) Increase subtitle to support :
- internal subs (especially .MKV)
- other external subs (.SUB, *.SMI, *.TTXT)

3) Implements "Network Media Single Source" (NMSS) as Mezzmo called it : allows to import from other DLNA media servers in order to centralize DLNA access.

4) Playlists support (.PLS, .M3U and .WPL)

Live mirroring from the computer to the TV.

The ability to stream a web browser screen from computer to TV/DLNA client

posibility to increase/decrease playback speed by 10% like 1.1x, 1.2 etc

EXIF captions to be displayed with photos

The ability to add a custom link to an external source. Which should be pretty easy.?.?

I have 2 uses for it.
1. Pointing to a VLC stream from my computer and stream transcoded movie or my computer screen.
2. My TV-card (DVB-C) supports streaming channels on my LAN using http and .ts format.

I'd love to be able to watch a picture slide show with music playing in the background, just not sure if my Sony Bravia TV supports such a thing. I suppose it could be created on the fly as a video and audio stream and transcoded into the format the TV supports, but would this be possible? It could be set up as a 'picture play list' with selected files from multiple locations placed together in one 'album' which could then be played. If it can't be done with music, that'd be fine too.

Serviio is close to perfect, the only thing I don't like is waiting several minutes for the rss content load to my TV.
I'd welcome a something like "cache", which would store the fetched online feed content and load it everytime I restart Serviio.

Ability to join Fob Files and play them as a single movie.
