The latest firmware seems to be 1112.2 released 2013.09.26.
Just FYI. If you need any logs etc. I'd be happy to help since you will be helping us
Just need instructions on how to use Wireshark which I guess is what you will be looking at (i.e. communication from Serviio Server to/from the TV).
(Needless to say, Samsung did not comply with the DLNA-standard on this update either so no thumbnails.)
A question though, even though I can't see any thumbnails I can't see any other files except for the .mkv etc. in my watched folders, does Serviio work so that it just fetches thumbnails through the internet and does not need to save them locally or should I regardless see some sort of other file that contains metadata with my movies and series?
When I am asking: One file did not show up when I tried to watch it, if I renamed it then it shows up, ehm it was a filename for an episode with a lot of dots like (S01E01 - Args... Args.. Args....mkv). Renamed it S01E01 - Test.mkv and then it found it and automatically fetched the correct episode name for it even though it was named S01E01 - Test.mkv (so Serviio / Samsung saw it as S01E01 - Args... Args... Args....mkv). Guess that the name of the .mkv simply did not work due to the many dots?
Edit: Ah yes. Replace "dots" with "periods". At this hour my english is not at its best.
