I have a problem with serviio (you can see the log if you want).

I have configured all.

- Mi PC with serviio is 192.168.10.100
- Mi Samsung TV is 192.168.10.101
- In serviio "bound ip address" I have the PC ip 192.168.10.100

I have a WR941N (primary connected to the adsl) and a WRT54GL (secondary connected to the tv wired) linked each other with WDS wirelessly. I have no problems with that, I have my lan with shared folders and I can see all devices (I mean speaking about computers or consoles).

On serviio I can see the TV with the green dot on the left but on the TV when I go to "Allshare" option I see nothing there. It doesn't detect event the server.

Finally!! The problem was the Windows 7 firewall.

According to the serviio doc, it says that "If you are using Windows Firewall these will be open for you automatically by the installer."

In my case I've to do it on my own. Thank goodness I thought to disable the windows firewall and give a try.

I hope that this help to anyone with this problems.

So my Windows 7 is dumb because it hasn't ask me anything (I swear).

I know you refer to the message that ask you to allow a program in the firewall and it gives you apart from allow or deny, 3 options to choose about the lan location (private, public or work).

But the point in this post is to help other people that has a similar problem.

Thanks anyway!!! :D
