Wrong Duration shown

Hi,
I am in the process of moving over from Plex, a lot of the content i use is recorded from tv via a tuner attached to the PC
PC is Windows 10 with all updates and my samsung is a Blu Ray BD-H6500
Some of my recordings when viewing on the Samung have a wrong length (usually about 5mins instead of 30), playing these files directly or on my PC show correct info

does it take a long time to copy a file to the destination or were all the files already present in the folder that you later shared in Serviio?

Sometimes Serviio gets the duration from the file as it's being written to the folder (incomplete) and then leaves it like that. FFmpeg shows 29 mins so Serviio should use that.

These files are created in the folder
I have Serviio scanning E:\Recorded TV and my recording software writes direct to this, so its possible it picked up the wrong time as it was being recorded (before recording complete)

However, I have seen this on recordings made prior to using Serviio, so they would have been complete when imported

For the above file, this would have been recorded as Eastenders_20161107.ts, when the recording finished I manually renamed it with the Season/Episode, so not sure if this gets seen as a new file after the rename

I cant find a pattern to failings like this, but it happens from other UK channels i record, some work, some have the wrong length

I use NFO's for my metadata, so nothing downloded, not sure if this is relevant or not

I had that Samsung BD player before, and it never displayed the correct release date. Run time might be a similar issue. I believe it's a Samsung issue, not Serviio. Since I no longer have that player, I can't confirm if the firmware was ever updated to fix it.

Been checking it out on recordings for the last few days, and all of them work fine, with correct duration

If i play on my Roku then everything is perfect, ideally would like to avoid this at it transcodes to much

looks like you are right about the Samsung, for some reason it occasionally cannot get the correct length, would be nice to know why and what is in the file it objects to
