Samsung F series audio cutting out

I'm having a bit of a problem with audio glitching/cutting out on a 10gb (55minute) mkv file streaming from a raspberry pi. I have checked the pi while streaming and the network and cpu usage is low so I don't think the pi is causing it. Transcoding and burned in subtitles are both turned off.
