F series error: request cannot be completed

Hi,

Serviio was working decently with my new F series TV (without picture thumbnails or "play were you left it" but working any how) until I decided to change the folder view to "sort by name".

From then on I get a "request cannot be completed" error from the TV every time I try to browse my files.

It seems that Serviio is not compatible with that "sort by name" mode. I think that the "sort by name" mode is remembered by the TV and applied from the first time you select it (giving an error every time). Unfortunately I cannot change the setting to "normal browsing" since the TV shows "request cannot be completed" before I am given the oportunity to do so.

Maybe, as a workaround, I can change the way in whih Serviio identifies itself so that the "sort by name" setting is not applied anymore. Can this be done?

Here are the relevant DEBUG logs:

Re: F series error: request cannot be completed

I had a similar problem the TV remembers your settings so you cannot change back. Samsung support suggested this I haven't tried it yet.

You should be able to rectify this problem by resetting the TV to factory defaults, please follow the steps below;

Please ensure the TV is on to do this;
1. Press the Menu button
2. Go to Support > Self Diagnosis > Reset > Enter PIN 0000
3. Highlight OK and press the enter button.
4. This will switch the TV off, switch it back on.
5. Go through the initial plug and play set-up for the TV.

Connect USB stick (or USB HDD), open it and change back to Folder View.

Re: F series error: request cannot be completed

Why?
It must remember last choise...
If not, try to put movie to USB stick, choose Folder View and play movie.
Then exit and try again.
