Samsung B Series .avi audio data not supported
Hello, First of all many many thanks for creating the best media server software on the planet ! Its really simple and intuitive.
I have a Samsung B Series TV (LN52B750U1F) and have ripped some movies to .avi format using daniusoft dvd ripper. When I try to play this on my Samsung TV, I am able to see the video but the TV reports "Not Supported Audio Data".
I also have a Sony KDL-60EX700 and the file plays perfectly well on that. Here is some info on the file:
ffmpeg output:
C:\Users\Public\Videos>ffmpeg -i "alladin_1.avi"
FFmpeg version UNKNOWN, Copyright (c) 2000-2011 the FFmpeg developers

tbn, 30 tbc
Stream #0.1: Audio: mp3, 48000 Hz, 2 channels, s16, 128 kb/s
At least one output file must be specified
GSpot returns the following data for the file:
Serviio Console for the devices identified and their profiles (I had to change the Samsung profile from Generic DLNA to Samsung TV (B Series)
Hopefully this is a straight forward issue that can be resolved quickly. All of the movies that I have ripped into .avi format has this problem. MKVs work great !!
Thanks in advance for the support and for this wonderful software !!
