Due to space restrictions I can only fit a 32" unit in one of our rooms, I had seen Samsung LS32BM700UPXXU 32" 4K Smart Monitor this and the specs say "Screen mirroring, DLNA - Yes" I just wondered if anyone had one of these an knew if it worked with Serviio, the lack of a TV tuner in the unit is not an issue and tv is via a cable box.

I don't have that specific device, but I do have several Samsung sets in my home. They all work fine with Serviio. However, that said the Samsung video player has a lousy user interface, and the sets themselves have some codec limitations. The UI doesn't show you anything but a title and image of the media. No info such as length or other metadata info. I stopped using the TV interface years ago and instead use either a Roku player or Nvidia Shield for my media playback. I have the same UI complaint with my LG and VIzio TVs as well, so it's not just Samsung.

I have two Sonys at the moment the 42" from 2013/14 is actually okay for the media interface, the newer set from 2020 is pretty poor. I suppose worst case scenario would be grabbing a Roku for £40 if the 32" Samsung does not see the serviio server.

There shouldn't be any issue with the Samsung seeing Serviio. I have a 40" 4K TV next to me that I just tested the Premiere on, and it sees Serviio just fine. I don't think you'll have any problems there.

Took the plunge and bought the monitor this week, I can confirm it sees Serviio and plays content just fine.
