About the annoying AllShare notification popup

With serviio installed (which is great for its purpose), every time I start or reboot my computer, all Samsung D TVs display a really annoying popup message saying that a "New AllShare device connected". This interrupts other peoples watching the TV, as remote command input is required (the popup doesn't fade out automatically).

Wouldn't be better to remove all the AllShare dirt from the profile, and set it as a generic DLNA? I managed to remove the popup by removing DeviceDescription, ResourceTransportProtocolHandler, ModelNumber, and keeping Transcode, but I really don't know if any feature is now missing for my butchering.

I think that this should be addressed as
1) we use a free dlna server called "serviio", not a proprietary content sharing system called "allshare"
2) the profile is intended to be specific for Samsung D TVs, so why not tailor it for better user experience?

My wife would be delighted.. the popup even happens when the TV is turned on when the server is already active.

How about posting your exact profile changes so others can try your fix. I too have a Samsung D model.

when you remove that you lose features the TV offers, like resume, subtitles on/off, going straight to serviio's Video folder when you select Video in the TV's menu, etc. I assume the popup happens with Samgung's server as well.

Well, I'm still interested, because on my Samsung D BR resume is not supported and with the latest TV firmware the Resume 'D' Button no longer shows so maybe Samsung couldn't get it to work either, and I always want subtitles on and I use my harmony to auto click the the Serviio folder I want at startup, so if thats all I lose to get rid of that popup, I'll do it!

He removed all this.I have no idea what they do. Is it necessary to delete them all or is there a part that would just eliminate the popup?
