Files not showing up on Sony TV

can you post detailed log of when you try to play the file on the Samsung?

In the process of turning on detailed logging, I turned off Serviio and turned it back on. When I tried to view a movie with the logging enabled, it worked fine. Music files also work fine. Another one of those unexplained mysteries. I know I turned it off and on numerous times while I was testing. Anyway, I'm pleasantly surprised. My last issue has to do with the limitation on the number of files that can be displayed on the Samsung TV. It only displays 101 screens (or pages) with 10 files per screen. Is there any way to increase that? With a large movie and music collection, this is too limiting.

I think they limit to 1000 items in one 'folder'

I think you're right about the number of files per folder, but the Movies folder lists all the movies so if you have more than 1000 movies they don't get displayed. I was trying to figure out if there's a way around that. Is there anyone here who has more than 1000 movies? If so, have you found a way around the limitations in the TV software?
