Sony BDP S570 no longer sees new m2ts or ts files

Had to rebuild Windows 7 on new drives. My video rendering sequence is MakeMKV 1.9.1 (creates .mkv file from blu ray disk) -> HandBrake 0.9.9.5530 (resizes video to 20 kbps average - required for smooth non-transcoded playback on Sony BDP S570 player) -> tsMuxeR1.10.6 (remuxes the HandBrake output so DTS sound track is preserved on Sony player). This sequence produces .ts and .m2ts files that used to play back smoothly with DTS audio intact on the Sony BDP S570. This processed worked perfectly prior to the new Windows install.

Since the new Windows 7 install, the Sony can no longer see .ts or .m2ts files created AFTER the new install. Strangely, the Sony can still find the .ts and .m2ts created BEFORE the new Windows 7 install.

The HandBraked .mkv files created after the new Windows 7 install appear and play smoothly on the Sony but only if transcoding is turned on. However, this transcodes the DTS audio to Dolby which is what I'm trying to avoid.

I would like the newly created .ts and .m2ts files to be visible and play on the Sony. Help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Problem solved. The rip had gotten configured for DTS-HD which is not supported by the Sony BDP S570

I'm surprised your BD player didn't support DTS MA. My Sony BDP-S3100 players will, as well as Dolby TrueHD. My Samsung H series BD player will play the DTS-MA track, but only sends the lossy DTS core to the AV receiver. And that player won't play Dolby TrueHD. The decisions they make when they design these things... :?
