Need MASSIVE Help!

This was working (I thought) at one point. Now, here is my list of issues:

Can't play AVI, MKV or M4a (Mpeg4) Files stored on a server anymore
Dreaded "There is no playable file" message
Everything is streamed via 100mbit Ethernet (no wireless)
My US unit shows up as an (EU) unit in Serviio
The status of the BDP-S570 is shown as Unknown
Unit will only play TS (MPEG-2) files
I have incorporated Both the EU and US versions of the profiles from forum

What am I doing wrong?!?!?!
Is there a complete Profiles.XML file I can download to make sure this is correct?

Thanks

Re: Need MASSIVE Help!

Just click on the profile in the console, it'll become a combo box and select the US profile.

Re: Need MASSIVE Help!

Done that - makes no difference.

Also, of note: XBox 360 picks up the Serviio server and can play both MP4 and MKV files. It can not play AVI files though.

Any thoughts?

This log is not detailed: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=7

There are a lot of errors because 2 of your files cannot be added, not sure why (cannot reproduce it), but maybe the detailed log will help me too.

Re: Need MASSIVE Help!

You're using EU profile:

[ResourceTransportRequestHandler] Resource request accepted. Using client 'IPAddress=/192.168.0.238, Profile=Sony BD Player (EU)'

Is the above IP address the IP of the player? Also if you didn't setup static IP for the player, I'd do it because every time it gets a new one it'll be identified as EU player. Make sure you select US profile for the player's IP in the console and click Save.

Re: Need MASSIVE Help!

I've tried it with both US and EU profile and it does not make a difference.

It incorrectly identifies the unit as an EU unit. I will try changing it again and setting the Static IP and see if that makes a difference.

You should also note that the XBox 360 is no longer playing anything either.

Thanks

Re: Need MASSIVE Help!

Alright, getting a bit BIZZARE!

I hard coded the Sony into 192.168.0.154. I did this both in the Sony and in the Router. Didn't show up in Serviio - so I manually added it. However, there is a still a Sony (EU) at 192.168.0.238 - even after several shutdowns and restarts of Serviio and the service.

Problem is now the Serviio server does not show up on the Sony at all. I know it is there because I can ping the device from any computer on my system.

I am totally flumoxed! I am sending a new Log along with my configuration in case that helps as well.

Re: Need MASSIVE Help!

The original EU player is there because it's been saved like that. You can click Remove (and Save) button to get rid of that.
I'm guessing you did the IP config wrong, you should only do it on the router I think. There is nothing in the log because the device doesn;t connect. Also make sure you're on the same subnet as the server (ie. the first 3 numbers in the IP address must be the same for the player and server).

Re: Need MASSIVE Help!

Alright, here is what I had to do in order to get it working.

Saved the Profiles.xml file
Uninstalled Serviio
Removed all mention of Serviio from Registry
Rebooted system
Reinstalled Serviio
Replaced Profiles.xml with one I sent you earlier
Restarted Serviio

- it now works on the Sony BDP-S570

Only remaining problems are an inability to play AVIs on the XBox 360. This is weird as they are most likely DivX files and I thought should play smoothly. They don't play at all.

And that TS (Mpeg-2) files play in a "jerky-slow-motion" fashion - again on the 360.

I have included the latest log.
