pc + serviio + wifi direct + bravia tv
Hi all, I installed serviio pro evaluation 1.5.2 on a windows 7 pc to have a DLNA server for my 2014 sony bravia tv.
I don't want to connect the tv via cable lan or wifi, so tv and a pc are connected via tv wifi direct. there are not firewall other than windows' one. pc has the static ip 10.10.0.1, subnet 255.255.255.0, tv has static ip 10.10.0.12, subnet 255.255.255.0. in the serviio status pane, profiles listl, some devices connected to my 10.10.0.x lan are automatically displayed as unrecognized devices, but the tv is not, and I cannot add it manually because there is not the Add button to the right of the list, only remove and refresh. obviously, the serviio server is not displayed in the tv dlna server list.
Could this be a wifi direct problem? i say this because if I right click a media file in a pc library, there is not any custom link to send the file to tv media player; anyway, tv and pc result connected both on the tv and on the pc wireless panels. Many thanx if you could take a look to my problem, I'm an absolute novice to dlna and I'm a really frustrated novice.
