Serviio & KD65XE7096 (SONY)

Hi Guys,
I have a new sony kd65xe7096 TV and a version of serviio (1.90 pro).
Serviio works properly with my old tv SONY KDL-40W705C.
In my new tv I can't see all my media. I saw only few media, I think 100 on 2700 that are in my media server... Someone have the same tv and the same bug? I have updated my tv to the last version of firmware...

Exactly same trouble here ....
my new TV: Sony KD43XE7096 and serviio 1.9
I can see about 50% of my movies/series ... very strange ...
(by the way, I can see everything with Plex ...)

What Sony profile did Serviio assign to the TV? Perhaps it chose the wrong one.

Thank you ! It works now.
Indeed, the automatic profile " Generic DLNA profile" was bad ...
I change to "Sony Bravia 2012" (my TV is from 2017...) and it works perfectly !

Hi,
I bought a Sony 43XF7096 (2018) just last week and I would like to know what profile to use to configure it correctly with Serviio that I have been very useful in the last 5 years with a Samsung TV.
Currently I have set the Sony Bravia 2015 profile but I have not got to try a lot. Maybe you can already tell me if it is the correct profile or if there is a better one for this model.

I don't have any Sony devices other than a BD player, so can't say for the latest TVs. I don't believe anyone has developed a newer Sony TV profile than the one you are currently using. I have no idea if Sony has made any changes in their media support since then. Since your set is 4K, it's possible the profile doesn't account for that. Someone with Sony experience will need to look into it.

Thanks for the reply, I hope someone can develop the new profile in case it is necessary for this TV model (XF7096).
I just checked, actually the last available profile, which is what I set is not 2015 but 2013/2014.

These days I tried with the 2015 profile, everything seems to work well in FullHD, but the big flaw is that it does not show me the movie in 4K, it tells me "playback error".
And another thing that Samsung did not happen with is that if I turn off the TV or put the film in stop during playback, when I return it does not start from where I left but always starts from the beginning.
Any help for me?

The profile likely needs to be updated for 4K support. I can't help there. As for resuming where you left off, Samsung supports that, but Sony doesn't. Has nothing to do with Serviio, unfortunately. :(
