The JVM could not be started

Hi Serviio Forum,

Have been using serviio for a few weeks and everything was working fine.

Now when ever I try to start either the console or the bat file I get the following message "The JVM could not be started. The maximum heap size (-Xmx) might be to large or an antivirus or firewall tool could block the execution".

I have tried turning off my firewall but got the same result - I have tried reinstalling v5.2 but got the same result.

I have tried searching the forum but got no results.

Does anyone have any suggestions to fix my problem.

Any help is much appreciated.
Regards

Re: The JVM could not be started

Please rename your servii.log file and then try and start serviio and post the log file here.

Re: The JVM could not be started

try reinstalling your Java. How much memory free do you have at the moment?
