Serviio

I'm running Serviio 1.4 on Synology Diskstation; LG DP1W as client, with the LG profile selected. I do not get thumbnails for movies when browsing the library.

I have the same problem with my Samsung BD-F5100 player (Samsung E/F profile selected), but it seems this may be a Samsung problem as other people seem to experience this as well?

I've installed a DLNA client app on my Android phone, and there I do get the thumbnails.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Looks like a problem / lack of features on the client side.

Thanks for the reply. I'm not 100% sure, but on both the LG and the Samsung, there is a view in which 'thumbnails' are shown, only now they're sort of grey-ed out images of a film reel. It seems to me that the goal would be to have thumbnails there instead of those images. Is there any way I could check whether thumbnails exceed the device's capabilities?...

If they are on the Android device, then Serviio serves them.
