Video not working 55LA620S

Hi,
it is the first time i don't find a way to watch a video with my LG tv 55la620s and serviio. I use Lg tv/player profile and transcoding is activate.
The video works if i plug directly an usb drive on my TV.
i saw it on my tv but i have an error message (file not supported) when i launch it.

Re: Video not working 55LA620S

Hi

I have the same problem with my LG TV, with some mp4 files.

The tv can reproduce them well using a pendrive at the USB ports, however they can not be played using Serviio. (unsuported file format, however only a few seconds of the movie are shown before the error message)

Using the Windows Media DLNA server, the result is the same.

After reading your post and checking the files with troubles, I guess the problem are the files encoded using Stupid Ocelot.

I have no idea yet how to solve it. I have many files with the same problem, so remuxing them is not a solution.

Any hints ?

Many people say to try another profile. However I still have no idea how can I find out which profile is using serviio with my LG TV, and how to change it. I read the profile.xml file and there is a list of devices in it. How can I assign Serviio to work with the profile of another device ?

Re: Video not working 55LA620S

Try remuxing the file. As you're a Windows user the easiest way is to download my WinHelper Tool and drag one of the files to the Remux tab, set the Action to "Remux to same container type" and press Go.

If the new file is now working, do the same for all other affected files (you can drag the rest over as one batch). Delete the original files ( ".old" files) if you want.

Hello,
I have the same problem with my LG 39LN575s. Is there any other solution beside remux? Thanks!
