Can't see video files on Bluray LG BP450

Hi all,

I only can see photo files but no video files in the Bluray. I've tried to change their names but nothing happens. I have opened the port 1900 and 8895 and the communication seems good, I have a green dot on the status tab.
My setup is an iMac + bluray LG BP450.

Here is the log, the clock on the log seems to be different from the real time, I don't know if that can be the problem.

Thanks in advance.

Good morning and nice to meet you.

I have the same problem.
Have you found the solution?

THANKS!

I've got same problem too with my LG BP450

I've also got samsung BD-E5500, but everything is fine on that device.

But my LG BP450 cannot see any playable movie file in folders. But sees folders, even thumbnails in folders. (Win 8 and .mkv files)

In a Sony topic, it's said there is same problem with some Sony blu-ray devices, and some of them can be solved by profile settings, by changing "generic DLNA profile" to its named profile. But it does not work with LG BP450 to change profile to "LG TV / player". My Samsung's profile is shown as "Samsung TV / player series E/F" by default, and my WD live profile is shown as "generic DLNA profile" but there is no problem with them.

Come on Serviio, we're waiting solution for purchase. :)

TIA

I have a similar problem with my LG BP255:

-Files scan, with thumbnails showing in the upper right of the Serviio screen, when shared folders are added.
-The Welcome screen show the correct number of video files.

On the viewing end of things, only folders and avi files show up (the LG BP255 can't play avi)

Help with this would be appreciated!

So, I returned the LG and got a Sony BDP-S3500. Everything works correctly with this player, though so far it has it's own quirks (not related to Serviio).
