The GetProtocolInfo of your device is interresting, do you try with Generic Profile ?

Should the TV announce if it supports transcoded content or not? If so, where can I check for this flag?

That said, it seems it CAN be done as I found mention of it on the Mezzmo forum with someone using it to transcode DTS audio for their 47LW5700, which appears to be another model based on the same hardware as the 5500 and 550T.

Actually I am forced to use the Default profile. Whilever Serviio detects my TV as powered on, it switches the profile back to Default. If I turn the TV off and change the profile it works, until I turn the TV back on.
