Few Entries of The Same Video

I just installed Serviio. It's fast and beautiful but after I did a force refresh, I started to see double or more entries on tv for the same video. How can fix this? I'm using win7 x64, Lg 50PM6800(it is pm6700 outside my country).

If your libary is BIG, you probably have to wait some minutes for refresh process to end and clean.

It didn't matter. I've waited for few hours. I even tried to remove and readd my video folders. At first, there is no problem. But after refreshing my library, whether by force or by itself, my library gets messed up. There are five or more entries for almost every video.

Edit: And what is this red dot mean in Show Status? Does it mean it stucked? http://i.minus.com/i1lOzqiX5fq3b.jpg

Could you enable detailed logging (see signature), force library refresh, and check the log file, there is probably a problem with a file that blocks the scan ?

So, here is what I did:

1- I enabled detailed logging. But log file got too huge to put it here. So I removed my folders. Created a smaller one with 7 video files. Cleared the log file and restarted everything.(Metadata and transcoding is disabled btw.)
2- When I first added the folder called "new", I checked my tv. Everything was fine. There was one entry for every video.
3- Then I force refreshed. Waited to be over. Then checked the tv again. Most of them had double entries.

I'd say try to reinstall, in a case the library is corrupted....

Do you see the duplicates in all viws, eg Folders? Or only in the metadata categories?

@zip
I already tried reinstall. With Iobit Uninstaller. But didn't work. It duplicates in all views, yes. I see duplicates in folders too. There is no duplicated folders though. Files in folders duplicates.

Do you see the files added twice in the log?

Hi,

I have same duplicate entry problem for certain files.

[LibraryAdditionsCheckerThread] adds same file again and again. It just happens for some files. I feel it is related with file name. I think this thread or database has a problem in understanding the difference between "I" and "i" (I am using Windows, and as you know Windows ignoreCase. You can make a test and put two files into your library. "Tsuk Imno" will have multiple entries, but "Tsuk imno" wil seen only ones on TV (This is not related with LG, I see it in Samsung TV. This looks like a DB problem))

Also I have some other concerns about "LibraryAdditionsCheckerThread". It checks my library and add files to database again and again but since there is no problem with ignoreCase it probably overwrites entries. But for file names that contain "I", it looks like instead of overwriting, it adds new entries over and over again. (I have the same file shown in my library maybe more than fifty times.) I think when LibraryAdditionsCheckerThread looks into my library, it should check DB for the file and if it finds a matching entry for this file it should ignore it, and does not log it to log files. Right now LibraryAdditionsCheckerThread is adding all files again to the database when serviio has restarted. This addition wastes my SolidStateDisk while logging.

Is that using the same instance of Serviio? if not, is the problematic one on a Turkish OS?

Is your TV and your dad's connected to the same Serviio server or different ones?
