Audio Lag / Sync

Your new Panasonic 2013 profile appears to be working well on my VT60. I have problems on occasion with certain files with a lag of audio when streamed from my PC to the VT60. The same files play fine locally on my pc. It appears to be more common when I mux an AVI to an MKV. Where do I start digging?
Re: Audio Lag / Sync
When I have this kind of problem, is often caused by bad video framerate. Ex: (i'm from north america and our standard is NTSC 29 fps) and avi file are with 25 fps. I reencode the video in mkv with a ntsc 29 fps and this have fixed my problem...
My Setup : BDT220 Panasonic Bluray player, TC-L55ET5 and TC-L42ET5 Panasonic TV. My home media server run Serviio 1.4.2 Pro under GNU/Linux Ubuntu 14.04 LTS server x64 and the hardware is Amd 1045t Phenom II X6, 6Gb DDR3 1333 mhz on SSD and data on soft raid 5 (3x1tb).
Re: Audio Lag / Sync
The avis and mkvs that I converted do have 25fps rates. It appears that all that are problematic are 25fps. If I adjust them with the modified frame rate, do I degrade the video quality?
I am east coast USA, Philadelphia area.

Re: Audio Lag / Sync
I went back and looked at the other videos that are operating properly when streamed across my network. They are at the 23.976 film frame rate. Would that work equally as well?
