Various Challenges with Video on Viera 50AX802B

Hi,
I'm using Serviio on Windows 7 to deliver video to a Panasonic Viera 50AX802B. The files are captured using Media Center and converted to MP4. Playback is basically working, and the quality is good, but there are a number of annoyances compared with our previous stand-alone media center extender:

1 If you pause playback, and then press play again, the playback point jumps randomly up to a minute before or beyond the point at which you pressed pause

2 If you stop viewing a video, and then start to play the same file immediately, there's an option to start from the "last stopped" position. However this isn't remembered across sessions, or for more than the video you have just stopped viewing. On the old system it would remember a "resume" point for all partially-watched items.

3 There doesn't seem to be any way to quickly skip a significant part of the video. On the old system you could press 1 to advance 10% through the video, 2 to advance 20% etc. The Panasonic/Serviio system doesn't seem to have any such option.

Is there any way to fix these problems? Am I missing something in either the setup of Serviio or the use of the TV which will make things better?
Thanks
Andrew
