Change subtitles on TX-L37ET5E

Hi, is there any way to change size or weight of subtitles? If I watch for example TV series, there is a problem with reading subs because subs are too small etc.. See screenshots. Have latest Serviio free on Windows. Thank you

Only if you use hardsubs (burned-in), then you can set size and color in the console (since 1.7)

Re: Change subtitles on TX-L37ET5E

What are your settings on Serviio Console,Delivery, Subtitle under the Burned-in subtitles.
If this is ticked, you can change the font size in that area. If it's not ticked, then it means it's up to the TV to set the font size - look for options on your TV. Failing that, consider using ASS subtitles (if our TV supports them) as that type of subtitle file allows you to set the font size.

If I have ticked "Enable burned-in subtitles" TV shows me there are no subtitles.

In this case there will not be an option on the TV to turn them on/off. The file should just start playing with the subtitles burned into the stream (transcoded).

Post detailed log of playing the file pls.

Re: Change subtitles on TX-L37ET5E

I just updated Serviio to latest 1.7.1 (had 1.6.x). I checked "Enable burned-in subtitles" and my TV now shows me titles BUT I tried to change color in serviio console to red. Subtitles in TV are still white. Tried to change size of subtitles, TV shows still original subs.. Tried restart serviio server, same result..

Re: Change subtitles on TX-L37ET5E

It's possible that the file is already in the temp folder transcoded with the original font settings. You could either play another transcoded file and come back or restart the PC and try again the same file.

Tried play another file, tried restart PC and then play files, still have default font, size and color of subtitles.
