Panasonic THP50V20A TV or Panasonic DMP BD85 BluRay

Hi Guys,

Hoping someone here will be able to help me.. I have the above DNLA devices and have started running Serviio, which is top quality free software, and I am having problems with certain types of files playing.

Files with video H.264 and audio MP4A.

I found additions to add to the Profiles.xml file on here and tried them but to no avail.

They were:

  Code:
    <Profile id="14" name="Panasonic DMP-BD85" extendsProfileId="1">
    <ContentDirectoryMessageBuilder>org.serviio.upnp.service.contentdirectory.PanasonicDLNAMessageBuilder</ContentDirectoryMessageBuilder>
      <SubtitlesMimeType>text/srt</SubtitlesMimeType>
      <MediaFormatProfiles>
         <MediaFormatProfile mime-type="video/divx">AVI</MediaFormatProfile>
      </MediaFormatProfiles>
      <Transcoding>
  <Video targetContainer="mpeg" targetVCodec="mpeg2video">
    <Matches container="asf" aCodec="mp2"/>
    <Matches container="mpeg" aCodec="mp2"/>
    <Matches container="mpegts" aCodec="mp2"/>
    <Matches container="mp4" aCodec="mp2"/>
    <Matches container="mpegvideo" aCodec="mp2"/>
    <Matches container="matroska" aCodec="mp2"/>
    <Matches container="avi" aCodec="mp2"/>
    <Matches container="flv" aCodec="mp2"/>
    <Matches container="wtv" aCodec="mp2"/>
  </Video>
  <Video targetContainer="mpeg" targetVCodec="mpeg2video" targetACodec="ac3">
    <Matches container="asf"/>
    <Matches container="mpeg"/>
    <Matches container="mpegts"/>
    <Matches container="mp4"/>
    <Matches container="mpegvideo"/>
    <Matches container="matroska"/>
    <Matches container="avi"/>
    <Matches container="flv"/>
    <Matches container="wtv"/>
  </Video>
  </Transcoding>

I am running Serviio on an Intel iMac.

Can anyone help me create a profile that will play these files? I does not matter which device I get them playing on but the TV would be my pref.

On a different note, is there any reason why it takes so long for a file to appear on the DLNA device list after you have added it and pressed "Force Refresh"

Thanks in advance.
