Hello,

I am writing because i have an aspect ratio problem when i stream some video files.
Although i visited all configuration menus and submenus on my different devices i still can't fix it, so i try my luck here :)

My config is :
- Windows 8.1 PC with Serviio
- Panasonic DMP-UB400 Bly-Ray disc player with network capabilities
- Sony 16:9 LCD TV

I configured everything, and all is good for playing music, photos, movies etc

But the thing is i have a lot of 80's music videos that are 4:3 (640x480 or 480x576) and when i play them, image is switched to 16:9 and is deformed.
Aspect ratio menu on my TV only shows 'full' 'large' or 'zoom' options and that doesn't help.
On the Panasonic device, i've tried all configuration options of image, HDMI, settings, etc and that doesn't help. - ther's no dedicated option to set to 4:3 however
So maybe there's something to do with Serviio settings ?
Can you help me ?

thanks

What profile are you using for your device?
Also, post MediaInfo details for one of the music video's.

Thanks for helping :)

I am not using a particular profile for my device (do you mean the Panasonic player ?) i've been searching all menus without finding something that could set 4:3 videos to be displayed in 4:3
My videos are mp4 files encoded in h264 for the most part, resolution is 640x480 or 480x576 so nothing special.

In Serviio Console, on the Status tab your device should be listed (against its IP address). Next to the Device Name will be listed the profile Serviio has assigned to your device.
