Can't play anything with SC-BTT370 on Panasonic Viera profil

Hi,

I have recently bought a Panasonic blu-ray player sc-btt370 and I am trying several different DLNA server. With serviio using a Panasonic Viera profile the device can see all the file in the library but cannot play any of those. Could anyone help me?
Thank you.

Did you restart serviio after changing the profile?

Can you post the ffpmeg -i info for a few of the files. It also takes a while depending on folder size to add everything to serviio.

Also please post your serviio.log file it is in the log folder under the serviio install directory.

Thanks for the answer.
Yes I did that but no luck.

I am running XP and I don't have ffmpeg installed and apparently my log file is to big for the upload in the post (big library).

I tried different DLNA server and with all of them I had the same problem, I see the library from the device but I cannot play any video format. The only software worked for me was WildMedia Server but is crazy expensive.

Nothing will be transcoded unless you have ffmpeg installed. it is required for serviio. I think that ffmpeg is installed automatically when you installed serviio. I run serviio on linux so I am not sure. Make sure that in the serviio console you have not checked do not transcode.

ffmpeg is located @ serviio\lib\ffmpeg.exe

Thank you guys.
Find it.
Yes I have the transcoding selected even though I believe my Panasonic BD should be able to play natively most of the video files I have.

I attach the txt file about ffmpeg info of a couple of the video file I have and a shorter version of the serviio log file.

Thank you.

Re: Can't play anything with SC-BTT370 on Panasonic Viera pr

It seems that your library is corrupted.
Could you try :
1- Stop serviio service
2 - Backup the serviio library ./serviio/library/db --> ./serviio/library/db_bak
3 - Clean the log file
4 - Restart serviio service
The library should be rebuild...

Could you explain your network architecture : devices/IP address ?

Re: Can't play anything with SC-BTT370 on Panasonic Viera pr

Thank you.
I have rebuild the library but I don't have access to the Panasonic at the moment to test if is working.

Serviio is on a Windows XP machine at 192.168.1.119 and is connected to the router through a repeater bridge. The Panasonic BTT370 has a 192.168.1.120 IP wired. Then I have a Philips Streamium device at 121 and my android mobile usually at 106 both wireless. I have to say that I have no problem streaming to the Philips or the mobile (maybe I should have said this earlier :D ). So I guess the library should have been fine.

I'll let you know about the BD player as soon as I get home.....

cheers
