NAS no longer provides Serviio after adding ethernet switch

Having used Seviio for a long time on PC serving a Samsung Blu-Ray with great success, I added a NAS (Dlink 320L) to the system.

Installing the Serviio package onto the NAS was easy, and it worked brilliantly out of the box, even more stable than the PC, and of course 'always on'.

I have just added an ethernet switch (repurposed router) to the system, and Serviio is no longer 'seen' by the Blu-Ray player, or by the PC as a Network Location. However, I can acces the NAS just fine & run the Serviio application on the NAS - it appears to work exactly as it did before adding the switch. Also, other DLNA servers on the NAS (eg Twonky) continue to work just the same. I have tried reboots, disable/enable, stop/start server etc. But nohing will presuaded my PC or Samsung player that Serviio still exists as a service on the NAS.

I am hoping there will be an obvious solution... any ideas?
