ASUStor NAS (608t)
Posted: Thu Feb 16, 2017 7:00 pmHello, I have a 608t ASUStor NAS with Serviio 1.4.1.2-r2 running all is great. I have updated to 1.6.1-1.1 then to 1.8-1 both 1.6 and 1.8 versions caused major issues with browsing from a Samsung UN46EH5300 SmartTV and a Sony KDL-55HX750 SmartTV.
Videos (.mkv) would display sometimes, but took several (10+) attempts at refreshing to get a listing. After which, playing a video would then stall pat way into viewing (10-20 min), Reverting back to the initial earlier version I had installed (1.4.1.2-r2) solved browsing / playing issues.
My concern is I have the Pro version (paid license) but I am not able to apply it to the 1.4.1.2-r2 version (it is a Serviio*****.lic file). Trying to use MediaBrowser I get the error that it is only available in the Pro version... Guess you see the delema.
How can I apply my license file to Serviio version 1.4.1.2-r2, and does this version support MediaBrowser? If not, any thoughts on what maybe the cause for slow to no response when trying to browse media library from either the Samsung or Sony televisions. If I can fix/solve this issue then I'll have no issue with upgrading/installing the newer version.
