Which version of serviio should I install on a Netgear NAS

I have been using Serviio for years and love it, I am now upgrading my media to a Netgear Ready NAS R102, which is arm based, I want to load the Serviio V1.8 onto the NAs but I am not a computer genius, I know a little and have searched forums for advice on which version to install and what else I need to install, the only info I found was about 5 years old and was about version 1.3.3. I am sure a lot has changed since then and I want new advice on which version of Serviio to install, I am leaning towards the Qnap version, but not quite sure.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Well, I take it from the days of no replies, nobody cares or knows, it is entirely my fault for not doing enough research on the whole Serviio v NAS compatibility but it appears that Serviio and Netgear are not compatible and the Netgear guys say it is because Serviio wont submit there app for their app store or some such.

This is truly disappointing to me as the Serviio server is the best I have used and now I am apparently limited to the crappy Nero Media Home server.

Sad face

I didn't even know Netgear have an app store ;-)

I assume people managed to install the Linux distribution on it. You just need a java and ffmpeg build for the host. But ffmpeg might prove hard to get. No idea.
