Upgrade on Synology NAS (with Java?)

I made this mistake before, so this time I'm asking FIRST. I noticed that Serviio is due for an upgrade on my Synology NAS. A Java SE Embedded 8 upgrade appeared at the same time. Java will not let me upgrade the package unless I uninstall Java first. Do I have to upgrade Java before installing the Serviio upgrade?
I checked and you seem to have your own Java SE Embedded package - which I installed for the last upgrade. Do you have a new Java package?
I want to make sure I get it right this time. Thanks in advance for any additional information.
