Since, I can find no record of anyone trying to install serviio on these, we will have work it out as you go. I would first look at the following links.
they should be a good starting point for you to install serviio.
What I would do personally I would try and run the "ffmpeg -i" command from a command prompt to see if and what version ffmpeg was installed. I looked up the information on the NS-2502 and it has a built in dlna server, I would guess that ffmpeg is already installed.
Let us know what the result of running that command is and we can figure out where to go next.
Are you wanting to install serviio on all 3 of these? or on a certain one?
You might want to check out the forum below it is the user forum for the NS-2502 and they should be able to help you with the installation of ffmpeg. i looked at it but it is in Polish.
Running Serviio requires ffmpeg and java to be installed, serviio does not have to be "Installed" There is startup scripts that can be used to make it auto run.
No, only NAS. All Nas have one Hardware Board Version, all FW from NS, DN and MZK is comp. only the MKZ Fimware had a Telnet Server. The DLNA Server in all 3 FW make not rendering, when i play a .TS File from my NAS to Xbox360, i can not see the Movie. use Serviio on my Win XP PC make Serviio a MPG and my Xbox can Playback. I want that for my NAS.
Ok, I would look at the links above and the forum above and try to install ffmpeg. Once you get that installed we can take the next step. If you have any problems or errors, please post there here.
