[Need help] to install serviio 2.3 in QNAP TS-451+

Hi. I have QNAP TS-451+ with QTS 5.1.6.2722

I can manually install the version of Serviio (Serviio_2.3_x86_64.qpkg) without a digital signature.

When I open Serviio, it opens a tab with the IP of the QNAP followed by "/:23523/console/" but I always get an ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED.

Is there anything I can do?

In the link there should not be a / between the IP address and the semicolon and port number. Just to make a hypothetical link example, it should be HTTPS://192.168.2.2:23523/Console. Also, the port number you copied is only for a secure (HTTPS) connection. I can't recall the specifics about activating HTTPS on the console, so you might instead try using 23423 for the port number. If HTTPS isn't enabled for your console, that would also explain why you're getting a rejected connection message.

Sorry, I wrote the URL wrong. It would be as you say, 'https://IP_NAS:23523/console'. That's the one that opens when clicking on the Serviio icon.

I've also tried

without success.

Should I check something in the QNAP configuration?

With the 423 port, you can't use HTTPS. It has to be http://IP_NAS:23423/console

Re: [Need help] to install serviio 2.3 in QNAP TS-451+

OK, I've reached my limit of assistance, as I have no experience with a NAS device install. If you can see the Serviio process running on the device (I have no idea how you do that with a NAS) then something in the install isn't correct. If you can't see the process running at all, then you need to determine why it's not running. Serviio creates a log file that might provide some answers, but again on a NAS I can't tell you where that log might be found.
