Xmantium, any chance the new ARM build will be able to support TS-x31 series (Cortex A9/A15 CPU platform?) I've tried a manual install and get the "platform not supported" error.

Re: PACKAGE: Serviio 1.5 for QNAP NAS (ARM & x86 Intel)

ARM: TS-x10, x12, x19, x20, x21
Serviio 1.5 Revision 1 - Includes latest ffmpeg and webui

Install the latest Java JRE_ARM from QNAP App Centre or here first - http://download.qnap.com/QPKG/JRE_ARM_8.6.0_arm-x19.zip

Due to recent house build, i will be providing Intel version soon

Users of ARM x31 and x31+, you will have to install JAVA JRE_ARM from here, since i dont have this model and they use a different ARM chip i wouldnt know how my ARM build will work.

Its easier to install Java with App Centre, look at the below screenshot, seach for JRE

I love to own one of these new QNAP ARM models, I thought these are coming out next month?!

QNAP have moved from Marvell to Freescale ARM chips

Need to figure this out and may have a test build if your up for testing

Re: PACKAGE: Serviio 1.5 for QNAP NAS (ARM & x86 Intel)

I am pretty keen to setup Serviio onto my TS-251 QNAP. I have installed the JRE app, should I wait until you release the intel version or is there a package I can download now to install? Thanks :)

Well I bought mine from Newegg here in the US mid-December...funny enough I got sick of waiting for the Synology DS-215!

I would certainly be up for some testing if you want to try a new build for x31!

Re: PACKAGE: Serviio 1.5 for QNAP NAS (ARM & x86 Intel)

Regarding models TS-x31 and x31+, these use different arm chips and for some reason have a different method of installing apps.

You will have to install the right JRE installer -
http://www.qnap.com/i/uk/app_center/con ... 62080&hf=1

Can anyone try if my latest 1.5 ARM package works on these models

Re: PACKAGE: Serviio 1.5 for QNAP NAS (ARM & x86 Intel)

I should have the Intel build tonight, was waiting on swoopx to make all the changes to web UI so it runs smoothly, he just messaged me saying is now complete.

The ARM build will have a new revision with this latest web UI for those not knowing how to update the web UI themselves
Sony Bravia 2010 52NX803 - Sony PS3 - Xbox 360
Serviio running on QNAP NAS 639 Pro - 1.6 Intel Dual Core - 2GB RAM and QNAP NAS 121 - 2Ghz ARM Marvell - 1GB RAM

Re: PACKAGE: Serviio 1.5 for QNAP NAS (ARM & x86 Intel)

I have setup my TS-251 and am successfully running Serviio PRO v 1.4.1.2 EVALUATION license - WebUI v 1.5.4

Do I need to buy a pro license so I can publish my videos over WAN? e.g. so I can watch them on my friends home theater?

Re: PACKAGE: Serviio 1.5 for QNAP NAS (ARM & x86 Intel)

Yes you can do that, unfortunately the version you installed is out of date, the web interface doesn't upload the licence as it should.

Tonight I'll have Serviio 1.5 ready with the latest web UI.
You can get the licence by going here http://www.serviio.org/buy-pro
Sony Bravia 2010 52NX803 - Sony PS3 - Xbox 360
Serviio running on QNAP NAS 639 Pro - 1.6 Intel Dual Core - 2GB RAM and QNAP NAS 121 - 2Ghz ARM Marvell - 1GB RAM

So I installed your test build on my TS-231 with the latest 4.1.2 012615 build, and it seems to work perfectly. Installation and setup were a snap. I have doubts about the platforms transcoding abilities and haven't tested subtitles yet, but so far so good! Thanks for putting this together!
