ServiiDroid (Android Console) - Get it on Google Play
Re: ServiiDroid (Android Console) - Get it on Google Play
I am working on a couple of major changes on the way the API works and where it resides. I am putting the mysql server and the API web server on a seperate VPN, and then running just the serviidb drupal site on the current VPN, it should speed everything up.
I am optimizing the PHP code that generates the mysql queries to make the queries faster.
Both of these should get the API and site working alot better.

In version 2.0.2 new strings (subtitles section) are still in English, but on getlocalization.com are already translated (Czech).
Re: ServiiDroid (Android Console) - Get it on Google Play
Ok thanks for letting me know, I'll do a new release tonight, must have missed them when I did my last pass over the site.
Re: ServiiDroid (Android Console) - Get it on Google Play
Small update should be available soonish.
Re: ServiiDroid (Android Console) - Get it on Google Play
ServiiDroid has now been downloaded over 50,000 times!
I'm going to be busy working on ServiiGo for the next few weeks, but have some plans for an update that will finish off the revised ServiiDB.com intergration once I'm done. Other than that it looks like aside from adding support for new versions of Serviio, ServiiDroid is now pretty feature complete. I'm am however thinking about updating the icon, I've tried to do some mockups using part of the Serviio rings combined with Android style cogs used for settings, but I'm not that great at the execution, so if you are up for it let me know.

Re: ServiiDroid (Android Console) - Get it on Google Play
Hi Will, is it possible to display logs?
There's a mod made for webui. Think this will be extremely useful.

Re: ServiiDroid (Android Console) - Get it on Google Play
No, for the same reason I cannot display a folder structure when setting up a shared folder, or install a plugin from ServiiDB, my app cannot execute any code on the server, whereas the WebUI's can (provided they are running on the same machine, which they almost always would be), so I'm limited to what is available via the console API http://docs.serviio.apiary.io/

Can you not see the "How to join the ServiiDroid Beta Testing Programme" post once you join the group? And on the desktop site it is written in the welcome message at the top.
