Keep feedback here please, the group is just there so that you can then join the beta testing programme on Google Play (which requires users to be a memeber of an authorised Google Group or Google Plus Community).

While it is a bit more of pain for users to setup, I'm hoping over time a decent number of you will sign up, and that way when I do have a version to test you will get it automatically.

Long click on one (or tap the checkbox under the status symbol), then you get three actions (from left to right), disable (down arrow), edit (pencil) and delete (trash can), so press the down arrow icon to disable. If you select multiple devices, you can disable them all at once.

Under Advanced->Device and Network settings you can control the defaults.

Ah the arrows are not clear if its disable or enable

It would be very cool if ServiiDroid got a refresh with the new Android card UI used in Play, Google Now ect - http://www.findmysoft.com/img/news/insi ... 849127.png

Down for disable, up for enable, If you can find some better icons then I will look at changing them, but its hard to convey enable/disable without colour.

Yes that would be nice :), but I simply don't have the time at the moment, once I've finished the work for ServiiGo 3.0 (which will hopefully be in time for when 1.3 comes out :)), then I'll try to find some time to seriously work on ServiiDroid again as I also need to finish off the ServiiDB intergration in addition to ServiioLink and online source backup/restore.

I won't have time to add the extra features (import/export, serviiolinks) before 1.3 comes out so I've uploaded 2.1 to google play, and will put the remaining ones into 2.2.

  Code:
==== 2.1 ====
*Added initial support for Serviio 1.3
**Set access rules for new devices
**Set character encoding for subtitles
**Only show series in relevent categories
*Added option to set the bound IP address on Serviio 1.2+
*Added a note showing which server versions are supported
*Internal restructuring - you will need to re-add any homescreen shortcuts
*Fixed the number of new files being truncated when greater than 9999 (#67)
*Updated libraries

Hi Will, think there's a bug with pro licence upload.

I did a fresh install of Serviio 1.3.1, and could not find the upload button on ServiiDroid, just says Free User.
But after uploading using Web UI, ServiiDroid says Pro version and now upload button is there.

Provided they are showing as added in ServiiDroid, and the console status isn't showing as currently checking for files, then its either a typo in the folder name, Serviio cannot access the folder, or wrong ffmpeg, I would check to if

1) The user that the Serviio service is running under have permission to access the folders,
2) If there are any errors in the log, (located at serviio/log/serviio.log)

But it might be best to post in the NAS realated thread as users there will be more familure with the sort of problems you are probably getting.

thanks for that, i'll digg into it.
but a stupid question really that wasn't clear.
when i start console via ssh - can i control it with windows software/web link? or just android device?
does console have to be on all the time? or just need serviio to run after setting all up etc

You should just run serviio.sh on your NAS, serviio-console.sh requires a screen/X server. You can then either use ServiiDroid to connect to it, or install Serviio on your PC and select just the console, and then point it at your NAS (see the FAQ for how to do this). There is also a PHP WebUI that you can use if you have apache installed, see the thread in the dev tools section.

As in you cannot connect to it in the first place, or when connected, it sometimes fails to update?

i can connect - all working but yes sometimes when updating loosing connection to the host.
and i'm still getting those errors I've posted.
is there a way to fix all 100% or there always be errors?
but anyway to summarize:
i got it all now sickbeard, couchpotato (although can figureout why suddently it's not moving movies from sab to couch and nas :movies folder), sabnzb and serviio - also loving the android serviio app.(donation sent!) i wish there was a serviio app for the iphone ;)
on serviio i have a 3 problems
1) media browser doesn't work on chrome or mozilla (even tho i have vlc plugins) getting attached error
2) HLS movies and tv shows on roku via chaneru not working only mp4 etc. (so atm watching via transformer pad with mx player all connected via hdmi to the TV)
3) online resources not working at all - although all profile files are added and are acknowledged on the serviidroid (showing no content after adding to the server via serviidroid)

i know that's maybe this is not a relevant place but anyone can point out what can i do to fix them all?
THANK YOU

Those errors all sound like an old/unsupported version of ffmpeg. If you have installed it using apt-get install ffmpeg then it will probably be too old, check the version/try building it from source, there are some guides on the wiki. If that doesn't help start a new thread so that someone can help you.

I've uploaded a small update to Google Play, should be with you shortly.

  Code:
==== 2.1.2 ====
*Added support for Serviio 1.4
*Fixed license upload button being hidden when connected to a non-Pro server
*Updated translations
