XMLs that I need PHP to setup for ServiiDB

I need a php script to clean http://home.no/chj191/theStreamDB.xml So that I can map it automatically to the repository. This xml is updated regularly and would be a great source of feeds.

Below is what I need the data to be mapped to.

ThestreamDB =======> serviidb
Name Category
title Needs to be split to the below:
Region
Title
link Link
Thumbnail thumbnail.

If I can get the php to clean up this xml file, I can set it up so that serviidb grabs the xml regularly and updates all the feeds in the database from this xml. This will allow the RSS links from serviiDB to be automatically updated as well. Here is another thread on here about it.

http://forum.serviio.org/viewtopic.php?f=41&t=5211

Here is another feed, that I would love to be able to import into serviidb on an automatic basis.

http://apps.ohlulz.com/rtmpgui/list.xml This one has over 600 feeds. it looks like it will be alot easier to import. Just seperate the title and language and adjust the link for what serviio requires.

It might be easier to have a plugin to adjust the link??

Re: XMLs that I need PHP to setup for ServiiDB

StreamDB and rtmpGUI xmls are great source to find live streams
But dont you think its best if users get the best and working feeds from these sources and enter it in ServiiDB manually?
jhb50 did this on his post here and he does maintain it best he can

This way, users on serviiDB can rate, update and add the correct thumbnails on the quality feeds found
Alot of them are dead feeds

piscui did a good job on users checking out the feeds on his page - http://piscui.webear.net/rtmpgui/rtmpgui.php

That is fine by me, I was just looking at the feeds and thought that they was updated regularly. Maybe we can get a couple of people to look at the feeds and pull off the good ones ona regular basis.

Plus it would be easier on me :)

I will be exporting all the good feeds over to serviidb, jhb50 done a job so far with his version

I just watched the klitschko vs chisora live using serviio on my TV!!!
we should defo have a live sport event section!! the feeds will ofcourse expire when the match/live sport is finished.
