Tvheadend (a TV streaming server)

Hi,

I just wanted to announce that I've implemented a Serviio plugin for Tvheadend (https://tvheadend.org) that allows for making Tvheadend's channel list available as live streams in Serviio.
In other words: you can now watch live TV with any DLNA client!

The plugin is available on github: https://github.com/pgaubatz/serviio-tvheadend-plugin

Cheers,
Patrick

Hi Patrick,
my installation doesn’t work.

The plugin TvheadendChannels is listed in the console.
I added the web resource http://192.168.1.17:9981/

The log announced:
2015-04-14 15:50:53,141 WARN [FeedUpdaterWorker] An error occured while trying to parse an online resouce requiring a plugin, provide the plugin or remove the resource: No plugin for web resource http://192.168.1.17:9981 has been found.

An other plugin, YouTube works fine.
Can you help me?

Cheers,
Jürgen

Hello,
I'm trying to get serviio working with the xbox 360 for streaming tvheadend channels... This seems to work fine in xbmc but on the xbox the channel list is populated but when I try to connect , it throws an error which indicated that the connection is dropped, local media is streaming fine, online media seems to be a problem, has anyone tried this on the xbox and succeeded ?

Serviio has never worked on a 360, its caused by the 360 having a short timeout and it basically gives up before the stream has started.

Hallo zusammen,

System : Synology DSM 5.2 / Technisat Skystar USB HD / Serviio 1.4.1.2 / Tvheadend 3.4.27 / Java SE Embedded 8
(Konsole über Windows 7 - Serviio 1.4.1.2)

Was ich bisher gemacht habe :

Also weiter gings :

-------> If this only a English Supported Forum, i´ll try to explain it later :)

Danke für eine Antwort und Gruß
Jens

I just tried the same as Outline and it didn't work out. Maybe Patrick could give us some advice?

What Outline wrote in German is that he did all Patrick wrote in his tutorial but the plugin doesn't work. Same here.

Many thanks for your help!

Hi Outline,

the plugin's now working here on a Synology RS815+ with Tvheadend 4.1.1233 and Serviio 1.5.2-0027. If you need help, anytime... even in German ;-)

Cheers,
beinaendi

For me, the plugin does not work unfortunately.
I can not add the URL http://NAS:9981 as a Web resource.
The following error are displayed: The stream URL is not valid or is not currently available
No error appears in the log.
Access to http://NAS: 9981/api/serverinfo is possible without ask for username/password.
Can someone help me?
