you have to enable detailed logging and finf the failing ffmpeg command, then run it manually to see why it fails.

I have pretty much the same setup (0.6.2 on linux + Samsung HT-D5550 & D8000 TV) And I cannot read any video in highest quality.
I will turn to normal quality to check if it works.

Re: YouTube

I don't see any of these errors there:

Process ffmpeg has a return code of 137! This is a possible error.

It looks like the video has been sent to the TV.

Re: YouTube

those are usually correct. Can you take the discussion to a separate thread in Support forum? It doesn't seem like it's related to YouTube (can you view any other online content?) but might be combination of the device, youtube and ffmpeg.

Ok i'll open a new thread.
I can view online hd streams and every rss feed in youtube except the 1080p one's.
By the way sometimes the connection randomly disconnects watching other videos (always at the same point).

Re: YouTube

Hi.
First, sorry if it has been addressed before in some of the 15+ pages. Please point me to the correct post if it is the case.

I have a LG LD650 TV and Serviio 0.6.2 runing on a windows 7 machine. Got YouTube and Vimeo groovies in place and added these feeds:
http://vimeo.com/user4577902/videos/rss
http://gdata.youtube.com/feeds/api/stan ... time=today
http://gdata.youtube.com/feeds/api/user ... ploads?v=2

My TV list them fine but states every video as invalid and refuses to play them.
I think transcode is my way, but how do i do this? Any tutorial out there?
Thanks.

Re: YouTube

Try this http://gdata.youtube.com/feeds/api/play ... 9CB1D13841

(I looked up the videos, found there was a playlist with them, then copied the playlist id)

Re: YouTube

Today for the first time 'm getting lots and lots of following errors when updating my youtube feeds:

DEBUG [FeedParser] Unexpected error during url extractor plugin invocation (YouTube) for item Moroccan Lamb Tagine (HD): Server returned HTTP response code: 402 for URL: http://www.youtube.com/get_video_info?& ... l=US&hl=en

Server returned HTTP response code: 402, what's that and can one fix this?
No wonder almost 90 % of my youtube videos are not shown on my blu-ray player! :x

Re: YouTube

402 is an unused code so I assume something is wrong with your network.
I was able to access and download that link manually so Serviio should be able to do the same. If you will post the URL from the console I'll test the Serviio function as well.

Must have been a temporary error yesterday, because now in the morning I restart Serviio and everything works as expected. Weird that it can be like that sometimes. Usually I need to restart Serviio one time and I get all my videos, but yesterday after 5 times of restarting and nothing? Oh well...

One thing though, I've expected recently, I can't since a good while get acces to these videos (I get "acces to this device failed" error):
http://gdata.youtube.com/feeds/api/user ... rt-index=1

But if the start-index is: 26, 51, 76 etc then it's fine

That link works fine for me. Try it in your browser. You could use start=2

Yes in browser it's fine but streaming that link via Serviio to my blu-ray plyer gives me error ("access to this device failed"). That is weird.

Re: YouTube

Hi Everyone,

I see a lot of people struggling to link youtube videos to their serviio. I have created a chrome extension that should make the task trivial.

Requirements

Simple how to:

Open the extension options and add your serviio host name and port number.

For videos just click on the add to play list button. If you don't have one already create a play list and add the video to the playlist. Then go to your manage playlist page and there should be an option to add the playlist to serviio. (remember to click refresh if you have made changes to the list)

You can also add playlists, search results and user feeds. Check out http://code.google.com/p/serviiotube/ for more info and some screen shots.
