megavideo and yahoo plugins are both in my pack just checked. Do you mean the feeds arent showing up or that the plugins are not in the plugins folder?

great work on compiling these plugins.

What would be really nice is a little script that will download and extract these plugins to my ubuntu server every week :0

plugin support should be more automated in the long run

Zip was against automated downloading thats why i compiled this pack so it would make it easier to download them. Im sure automation maybe looked at again in the future :D

I've copied the plugins into my PC folder (Plugins) but nothing is showing up.

If I need to add the plugin feed into the online library - what are the feeds for each of the plugins in the plugin pack please?

Thanks

I have installed the Plugin Pack and tested with a few common feeds like Hulu, YouTube, and a couple US news feeds.

It is working well so far, and thanks for consolidating the plugins into one neat package!

I would like to try some feeds from Europe, and past experience has been that some feeds that work well in Europe are a bit iffy here... So, I would like to ask anyone who is familiar with what works (and what doesn't), for some suggestions of some common examples which:

a) originate in Europe and work in Europe without issues and
b) in some language I can understand, incl. German, French (or English, obviosuly)

News or other common example would be ideal.

Thanks in advance.

Yes, good point (chuckle). From Milwaukee, in the US. Most internet connections here are made through Chicago. I can play some UK-only content on my computer, either through proxy servers, or other workarounds, but that was not really what I was trying to do.

To explain properly:

In the past, a lot of feeds and/or video-related resources in Europe just do not play or do not play well in my area. Most US streams and rss feeds work fine, and so do audio streams from anywhere (like radio stations).

This includes not only the UK-restricted BBC feeds which are clearly labeled UK only. Fox example, I tried TF-1 as described in this forum, and I get nothing (not sure I got the url correctly, b/c seems to have some extra chars in it, but for now, nothing).

So, to the point:

...to test, I wanted to ask someone from Europe to post a couple rss feeds (not streams) which are local to the poster, and 1) work in Europe, 2) use the plugins from the pack, and 3) in some language I can understand (Fr, Engl, Ger), so I can do some testing...

So far, one of the Hulu feeds I tried, the audio was occasionally out of sync w. the video. Also, same feed, after pause and resume, video would break up and did not sync for about ten seconds. Only one out of several I tested, so that may be a Hulu problem, not sure.

And, not to belabor the point, putting the plugins into one neat package with winrar worked really well, and saved a lot of time.

Well ok ...
I simply searched in google for "youtube feeds" and this link came up.

The point is - I couldn't find nowhere a list of working feeds ... and I'am new to this "feeds" stuff - thats probably the reason for me having troubles.

Are there any links, collections etc. you can share with me?

thx

Some plugins now are invalid, either the website is no longer providing the feed or down

Examples
Yahoo Movie Trailers - All RSS removed, they relaunched a new trailer page but no RSS
Megavideo - Well... i think they are being looked after by the FBI

Best to not include these and put DISCONTINUED or something in red
