HD-Trailers.com provides access to Movie Trailers gathered from multiple source sites, including Apple, Moviefone, Yahoo, YouTube, Disney, MSN, MTV, Funnieordie.

This hdtrailers.groovy "webresource" will access all these sites and display the most recently posted trailer or teaser for each movie in the requested list. If there are no trailers or teasers, the most recently posted item will display.

If the option pref=apple is specified and there is an apple trailer in the list, the latest apple trailer will be displayed instead of the latest trailer overall.

The following lists are supported:
* Latest trailers: "http://www.hd-trailers.net?start=nn&res=yyy&pref=apple
* Most watched: "http://www.hd-trailers.net/most-watched?res=yyy
* Top 10: "http://www.hd-trailers.net/top-movies?res=yyy
* Opening-this-week: "http://www.hd-trailers.net/opening-this-week?res=yyy
* Coming soon: "http://www.hd-trailers.net/coming-soon?res=yyy
* Netflix-new-releases: "http://www.hd-trailers.net/netflix-new-releases?res=yyy

* where start=1 to start=2700 & res=480, 720 or 1080
* and the defaults are start=1 and res=480

Note that many of the 720 and particularly the 1080 resolution videos use a bit rate that exceeds 5mbps and may not play smoothly on normal DSL connections.

Read the thread. Only supported on latest Serviio release.

Version 2 posted, with support for apple trailers based on Serviio 1.0

Version 3 posted with new option to select latest apple trailer if available in place of latest trailer overall. This is equivalent to an apple-trailers groovy plus others not available on apple.

Hi jhb50, theres some trailers missing on some, this is because HD-Trailers put files in the "Clips" section
Some like the new movies Robocop and Cloud Atlas has teaser trailers in the clips section

Was hoping if you can change to if trailer does not exist yet, play the latest clip file instead

[3] - Iron Man3, Nothings shows in serviio, would be nice to see the comic con clip
[5] - Cloud Atlas, again nothing shows in serviio, but clip has preview trailer
[7] - Robocop, clip has teaser

Version 4 released which will display the latest posted item for any film if there are no trailer or teaser entries. This can include promotional videos or clips. It ensures that all films are displayed in Serviio regardless of the availble material.

I´m back to client 0.6.2, because I had many problems with 1.0.
Otherwise I can`t see HD-Trailers anymore ("There are no items in list"), but I didn´t change anything.
Perhaps the new plugin doesn´t correspond to the odl client anymore?

Works better on 1.0 as it includes Apple Trailers.
Are you sure your using Web Resource?

Yes, I´m using Web resource with URL "http://www.hd-trailers.net?start=1&res=720".
Is this right?
I´m back to 0.6.2, because I have no audio on onlinesources at all on 1.0, especially with AVC- and wmv-sources.

Basically in Serviio 1.0 audio is missing on Sony 2011 series and trying work out what's going wrong.

How can you tell if the trailer is from apple ?

Theres usually an Apple watermark on the bottom right
