Hi jhb50, seems like the thumbnails not working on alot of trailers on this plugin

The other thing ive noticed is ' appear as "'"
Like "Return to Nim's Island" shows as "Return to Nim's Island"
or "Tyler Perry's Temptation" as "Tyler Perry's Temptation"

Only problem I have is thumbnails missing. I think it is a site problem but it maybe the way zip is accessing them, because they load fine in my browser using the same link.

After more testing, I have confirmed that UserAgent must now be set to retrieve new thumbnails. Need fix to Serviio to correct this problem. See post and ticket @ viewtopic.php?f=22&t=10271

HD-Trailers have added security . Posted V11 to fix it. Note that new thumbnails will not display. They require a fix in Serviio which will come in the next release.

As I told you 2 weeks ago this is breaking/interfering with the plugin extraction.

@jhb50, http://www.hd-trailers.net/coming-soon is working fine, all thumbnails working using Serviio 1.3

but with http://www.hd-trailers.net i get errors

Hello all... I'm brandy new to Serviio (how didn't I find/know about this sooner??)...

Spent a few hours today getting all working... really, on OSX 10.8 it worked quite easily... all without any issue, but I did have a a bit of learning especially until I found how to access the logs to 'confirm' files (images, music, video) was loading...

Just started looking into online material and have loaded this plug-in (the current version as noted on page 1 of thread). Also, I've installed the current (as of today) release for OSX.

I've added a online link as 'web resource' link pointing to:

Error from log:

I am getting a number of errors with this plugin

1. The trailer website is returning 403 forbidden response. I am getting the same log message as nnjlarry posted. It looks like a referrer is also required to download the html on line 128. It is currently:

It is resolved if I use rootUrl as a referrer.

Edit: I am wrong about this. It is returning 403 most of the time but once in a while it starts working. I can't figure out what is actually causing it to do this.

2. I had to update videoMatcher in the extractUrl method to be:

Hi jhb50, thanks for keeping this plugin upto date, i add the following using this link and cant get the video files to play on TV, i then tried ServiiGo as it plays anything i throw at it but nothing
Running on Linux, getting weird Windows errors?
Works fine when i add pref=apple parameter but not all trailers are from Apple
