Did you read and follow the first post? Obviously if the stream does not exist then Serviio cannot display it.

Yes, i can open it in my vlc player so the stream is working. For some reason the Online folder on my LG TV is always empty.

You will need to set your log for debug, then refresh the feed and post the log for that period so we can see why.

Here it is.
Let me know if there's any other thing needed.

According to the log you are running version 2 of the plugin so you might want to update it and try again :)

The file i'm using is the latest available. (Downloaded from the first post and from your pack. Both say V2) I don't know if is a typo os someone put the wrong file for download.
That said, i doubt the problem is the version of the file...

Re: SOPCAST VIDEO WEB RESOURCE

Actually Version 3 has been posted since Sept 13. Retry with it.

That said the log shows that the SOPCAST items have been set up correctly but when Serviio goes to display them it gets a 500 error that the list is null. I have gotten this error as well and have yet to figure out why. I got it to go away but I can't recall how. I think I cleared the cache. Try restarting Serviio.
Maybe there is a bug in the plugin.

The link in the first post is wrong... It's the link for the V2. Maybe you uploaded the wrong file?

Re: SOPCAST VIDEO WEB RESOURCE

Been testing a bit going back and forth with 2 different Sopcast streams H264 and WMV2 and there seems to be some bugs (latest version downloaded today) From playing WMV2 on my TV -> starting new Sopcast stream with H264 -> force library refresh

  Code:
2012-10-09 02:30:52,002 DEBUG [ActionsServerResource] Action with name 'forceLibraryRefresh' was requested
2012-10-09 02:30:52,002 INFO  [LibraryAdditionsCheckerThread] Started looking for newly added files

2012-10-09 02:31:21,131 DEBUG [OnlineRepositoryDAOImpl] Reading an OnlineRepository (id = 2)

So looks ok and click #1 on my TV.. now the problem is the format can be played natively on my PS3, but for some reason Serviio decides to transcode it (mind the time stamp gap, did it twice to be sure):

  Code:
2012-10-09 02:54:05,202 DEBUG [OnlineRepositoryDAOImpl] Reading an OnlineRepository (id = 2)

Going back to the WMV2 stream and force library refresh just results in a HTTP error on my PS3. Restarting serviio service = transcoded to mpegts/h264

So currently I just restart Serviio service for each time I change Sopcast channel with different codec

Here is my current profile, transcoding asf (WMV2) and remuxing h264 containers to mpegts
  Code:
      <Video targetContainer="mpegts">
        <Matches container="asf" vCodec="h264"/>
        <Matches container="mpeg"/>
        <Matches container="mp4"/>
        <Matches container="mpegvideo"/>
       </Video>
      </OnlineTranscoding>

Re: SOPCAST VIDEO WEB RESOURCE

@jhb50 : hi,

I am playing sopcast streams from my Panasonic ETW50. The problem is, as soon as I start playing high quality streams, My PC starts to lag and shows symptoms of lack of ressources.

What is the minimum required system configuration for a PC to play high quality streams ( > 1700 kbps) without any troubles?

I have a PC with following configuration: Windows XP Pro, Pentium IV 2,63 Ghz , 768 MB SDRAM

Thx for help !

Re: SOPCAST VIDEO WEB RESOURCE

You may need to get more ram. I have 3GB in my laptop and a 2.8Ghz dual core processor and even then some 1080p streams can get a little buggy even for me lol

Re: SOPCAST VIDEO WEB RESOURCE

Thanks for answer. I will try first to upgrade my system to 2 GB RAM.I hope this would bring some improvements

I think one could save system resources, if one is able to prevent the sopcast stream from being played on the PC on the sopcast client. It should somehow possible to forward the stream directly to TV (via serviio)

Re: SOPCAST VIDEO WEB RESOURCE

Can anyone help me? I have a sony hx850, I can see all sopcast channels but the quality is very poor with many pixels. Any solution?

Thanks to all

EDIT: I managed to watch the high quality streaming, but no audio. I'm finally seeing the full picture and streaming audio through a PopcornHour, but I wish I could fix it to see it all through dlna on sony.

Some sopcasts simultaneous

Hello.

First thank you for your plugin. It works great.

I have one problem. I open in my pc two sopcasts sessions, one in 8902 port and another in 8904 port. In serviio set up two "online source" one with 8902 and another in 8904. But on TV and on my WDTV live only the first source the 8902, the second source never appears.

Any help on the subject? I like to have 3 or 4 open sopcasts and in my tv decide which to see at all times, as each use a different port.

Sorry for my english

Re: SOPCAST VIDEO WEB RESOURCE

I have only used one feed 8902 but see if ffplay -i http://192.168.1.nn:8904 will play the second feed. If not it is a sopcast problem not serviio.
