I would love to be able to listen to my music from my Google Music (Google Play) through Serviio. I would give this idea a huge thumbs up...

Does Google have an API for this yet?

I've built an unofficial api, and it currently supports everything needed to build a plugin: https://github.com/simon-weber/Unoffici ... -Music-API.

I don't know anything about serviio; I'd imagine you'd need a java port? That wouldn't be too tough for someone with some java chops.

Seems to be not much progress since the post half a year ago.
Beeing able to stream my Music from Google Music directly through Serviio to my A/V Receiver would be outstanding.

As a heads up, Java ports do exist now. Check under the "Ports" section of: https://github.com/simon-weber/Unofficial-Google-Music-API.

A google music plugin would be definately awesome ! I'll look if I can make one.

I just subscribed to GMAA streaming works fine with bubbleupnp but it would be awesome to use serviio for syncing to google!
