Hey, guys!

We bought a Toshiba 32L3433DG TV-set for one of the other rooms and for some reason it is not displaying Bulgarian subtitles at all.

The subtitles section in Serviio is set as following:

Enable Subtitles and Enable extraction of subtitles embedded in video files are checked.

The subtitles I downloaded are encoded in UTF-8. Tried saving them as Unicode, but it did not make any difference.

Also, I checked the subtitles for any "weird"characters that may be messing things up, but there weren't any.

You don't need embedded subtitles checked, if you have external srt file.

You will probably have to check burned-in subtitles for your device though.

Thank you! I will give it a go and get back to you with the outcome. One more thing though, should I leave the Subtitle character encoding to UTF-8 and should I be changing the encoding of the subtitle file to Unicode, or just leave it as it is (it's UTF-8 by default I reckon)?
