'Device disconnect' after a couple of minutes

I am new to this 'media streaming' so please bear with me.

The problem I have is that after a few minutes watching something on my Toshiba the connection drops out, tells me 'device disconnected' and goes back to the login menu where my Win XP server is listed.
This happens with video, audio and graphics.

Any suggestions what could cause this?

Wired.
The wireless connection from my laptop has other problems but I haven't finished testing that sufficiently yet.

The router is a Netgear

Serviio 0.6.1

Re: 'Device disconnect' after a couple of minutes

Hi,
The Netgear is a FR114P.
And to give you the complete picture, that is linked to my BiPAC 7800N modem which runs the Gigabit side of the network.

Cheers

Re: 'Device disconnect' after a couple of minutes

Time for an update, things are getting worse...

Had to change thing when my Bipac modem started playing up and was send to the doctor.
Temporarily using a Netgear WPN82 router. Now the Toshiba won't recognise my desktop at all.
In the Serviio Console it is listed, but red. The odd thing is that it does recognise my (Win 7) laptop, connected wireless to the same router....
Problem with the laptop connection is that transcoding doesn't work very well. Can't play AVI or MP4 files.
I can ping the Toshiba from the desktop, just won't play.

Any advice?

Re: 'Device disconnect' after a couple of minutes

New here too, I'm having the same problem. I'll be watching a movie and in 1-2 minutes it disconnects saying "device disconnected". Im watching it on a Samsung LED TV UN40D6000 through a Samsung Blu-Ray Player BD-D5100 with Serviio version 0.6.2. from my MacBook Pro. The Blu-Ray player is plugged in via LAN and my MacBook Pro is WLAN (i've tried my Mac on LAN but no difference) Also my MacBook Pro is running WLAN on a 5ghz network so if it worked it would be faster then using LAN. Any help is appreciated.

Re: 'Device disconnect' after a couple of minutes

Sorry for my english

The problem comes from the delay of the signal ssdp

Serviio on it is 1800 sec (30 min) after losing the tv server

By cons I do not know how to increase the delay

Return to Toshiba
