Philips 42PFL7606K video thumbnails

hello there,

is it possible to use the information from .nfo files or to see a folder.jpg on the TV ??

hello...

i have read this and named a .jpg to "movie.jpg".

Or does this mean, the .jpg musst be named for example "Avatar.jpg" ??

{media_file_name}.jpg ==> 300.jpg for 300.mkv

OK... thank you very much. I will trie it later at home.

Mayby another question (sorry for off topic): all the .mkv's are not possible to skip/fast forward like the .avi files are.
how can i fix this problem ??

nope device wont skip on transcoded files and mkv have to be transcoded as they are not natively supported by the device.

Yes i tried it, but no success !! I just started serviio (Server and Console) New or do i have to start the PC new ??
And BTW. The tv doesnt show the thumbnails

you need to restart both serviio server and console ( generially its easy to just restart pc after making the change).

i didnt expect it to work, it was to show you that even though it says in the manual that they are supported that actually they are not, so theres nothing we can do, but transcode them like we had.

it cant, as i already told u device doesnt support that for transcoded files.
