Sort Pictures by Name

When browsing by Folder can the default sort be changed to a Name sort instead of Modified date. This creates havoc when you have a named and ordered list of images. The Timeline sort should display by date, but I think the Folder sort should be by name. At least that way you can control the order of display by renaming the files. Or is there a feature I'm missing to change the default sort order?
