Metadata extraction support

Hi,
Great to see xbmc and some other support but, a real easy quick win would be to support:

1. folder.jpg or folder.png for video folders (not just audio). This is typically used by mediabrowser for WMC7, WMC7 itself and produced from various tools like metabrowser and yammm.

2. mymovies.xml - produced by mymovies, also by metabrowser and some others.

These files are generally in the same folder as the video for the generally accepted folder structure of one movie per folder.

Otherwise - what a great product - the only product that I have successfully used with my Sony Bravia TV (including Mezzmo - which was ....almost there.....) and its ridiculous requirement to have almost everything transcoded....

I believe it already does - thats what the link says (look at video at bottom of page).

I have no idea. I know that the format is the one used by thetvdb. Look at the series.xml i have attached for the "Chuck" series, and then look at the api query too.

(80348 is the series ID) and the en.xml is the English series.xml.
These are present for the root of the series folder. There are then subfolders: Season 1, Season 2, Season x etc., and also a "Specials" folder too.

There is a discrete xml file for each episode (I have attached an example) - usually named the same as the episode itself. Metabrowser and mediabrowser use a "metadata" sub folder for each season to store these xml files, and the folders usually include jpg episode screen grabs. the data is all scraped out of thetvdb web service calls....

I'm already using thetvdb.com for series metadata extraction. I'll wait for them to implement it, hopefully it'll be soon
