MULTIPLE SERVIIO CONSOLE

I have two workstations that I want to setup serviio on but I want them to have their own library and not be able to see each other on the same network.

they would need to change servers to access the other content, I have tried changing the remote server with a different address but I still see the same content regardless what address I use.

is there a way to isolate both serviio console?

Re: MULTIPLE SERVIIO CONSOLE

I run Serviio on two different computers on the same network. There's no operational interference between the two. They have their own separate libraries, although you could certainly set it up to access the files on the other if desired.

When browsing your sources in your viewer, you just see two instances of Serviio. I change the name on my test server so my wife doesn't confuse the two (changed in the profiles.xml file near the top). Only one can be accessed from outside my network since my DSL router doesn't support port forwarding to different outside/inside ports. Since the console is web based, you can access either console from any computer on your network.
