Switch off "All Music" feature introduced in 1.7

My control app allows me to select an artist and play all albums/tracks.
With this feature they are duplicated (as it selects both "all music" AND the albums), and is not what I want.

Also importantly the feature does not seem logical as the albums and tracks are jumbled up - being played in alphabetical order!
And what about opera (!) like Tommy or Sgt. Pepper.

For classical music this means symphonies and movements are jumbled.
You will get "The Ending" played before "The Opening".

It is also rather unnecessary when an artist only has one album !

An option on the Serviio console to disable this new feature - please.

This forum is for ideas. If you really want something, raise a bitbucket ticket and it will get prioritised. There are currently over 130 open tickets, so you can see why it has not made it into 1.8

Same response as for another Feature Request.
This was not very clear.
I thought I had submitted a request.

This "All Music" feature is dammed annoying.
Now I know I will raise a bitbucket request.

Perhaps "Feature Requests" board should be renamed "Feature discussion".

Hello,
I simply use track numbers to avoid your problem :
01-The Opening
02-To 17
18-The Ending

Many of us suggest requests here, without getting answers.
I suppose the developers already have a road-map for next version.

I believe the All Music could be developed more, by having more options such as All Albums, so you automatically play each album by an artist is succession.

I too would like an option to disable it altogether, such as there is with Genre, Playlist, Online etc.

One issue for me personally is that my Pioneer DNLA player just can't see the all music (the list is always shown as empty)

I am disappointed this request has been downgraded to an enhancement and minor.

It is a usability issue created in version 1.7

I can already do as you suggest by selecting the artist and playing all - the "All Music" facility messes it up as everything then gets played twice.
Also how irrelevant when there is only one album !

Thanks for agreement to optionally disable it.

Bit of a problem with 10,000 tracks.
Also it does not resolve the other issues this "new facility" creates.

Thanks for implementing this fix in version 1.9.
All fine now.
